The Harmony Program at Saint Simons By-The-Sea: Why Choose Us?

The Harmony Program at Saint Simons By-The-Sea is an inpatient mental health program dedicated specifically to women. It is for women 18 and older experiencing acute mental health episodes. Trusted mental health providers guide you through a personalized treatment plan that helps you feel better.

Highlights of our program include:

  • Compassion: You receive services from staff who want the best for you. Mental health providers offer encouragement and heartfelt support, making it easier to openly share what’s on your mind without fear of judgment. Doing so often helps people feel valued and empowered to make lasting changes benefiting long-term mental health.
  • Trauma-informed approach: This approach recognizes the impact of past trauma on your thoughts and feelings. Keeping this in mind, staff use techniques that help you avoid reliving these painful experiences during treatment. We communicate in a respectful, nonjudgmental manner, even when you are overwhelmed with emotion.
  • Picturesque location: The serene sights and sounds of Saint Simons Island create a peaceful setting that makes it easier to focus on healing. It’s one of the many reasons people come to us from all over Georgia.
  • Continuing care: After discharge, you may be eligible to transition into our adult intensive outpatient program (IOP), allowing you to continue your recovery at a familiar location. This program offers the flexibility to live at home while receiving structured support that aligns with your ongoing treatment needs.
