Saint Simons By-The-Sea has been serving Georgia, Florida and the Carolinas since 1982 in a serene island setting located on picturesque Saint Simons Island, located conveniently equidistant from Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida. We are a 101-bed acute behavioral health hospital offering inpatient and outpatient addiction and mental health treatment programs for adults, adolescents and seniors. The hospital’s location provides incomparable privacy and anonymity, enabling patients to concentrate on treatment. We are dedicated to being a source of support for our patients, their families and the communities we serve.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide exceptional, compassionate mental health and addiction treatment to teens and adults in a secure environment. Our compassionate and highly skilled interdisciplinary team of experienced psychiatrists, addiction specialists, nurses and masters-level mental health clinicians lead a patient-centered approach with individualized care and discharge planning for individuals who may be distressed, exhibiting dangerous behaviors and/or expressing a threat of harm to self or others.
